henry: "mom you aren't funny anymore. stop trying to make me laugh."



we have had a busy month...i can't believe a whole month has gone by and i have not posted anything on here. henry finished up his baseball season, started his swim season, daphne finished up preschool, we finished awanas, henry finished first grade, we got a puppy, anna is potty training (so is the dog), ramey is almost done with formula and bottles...and this is only the beginning of summer!

in many ways i am so glad it is summer break. i always look forward to having the kids home and not having a crazy busy schedule and then on the other hand it is a bit overwhelming to have them all home. they are struggling this week to play well with one another and i am constantly praying that i would be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.

so far some of the activities we are going to tackle are: building and activating a volcano, playing in a pool of cooked spaghetti noodles, watercolor painting, reading, reading, and more reading, playing games and swimming till our hair is green (no not really but lots of swimming). okay, as i type out this list i get excited to play with the kids!! i must get off this thing and go enjoy just being with them.
