we are heading out to anaheim this week for our first ever family vacation to disneyland!!
let me just tell you that i cannot wait until i see the look on my children's faces when we pull up to our hotel. henry started asking us about 6 months ago if we would take him to disneyland. it is making me crazy not telling him that is where we are going next week. i feel like i do at christmas time when i know what the kids are about to unwrap.
i keep asking ross if we can tell the kids and he keeps saying not yet. ahhhhh- i am never good at surprises but i am holding it together and keeping my lips sealed! i'll let you know how it goes when we tell them...heck maybe i will take a picture too.

i'm impressed with the self discipline! we're heading to disney world in october (since we're finally within driving distance!) and I've already told alexa about it! can't wait to see your photos!!!!
The last time we went to Disney in Florida, Max was exactly Henry's age. We did not tell him at all where we were going...only to Daddy's conference. We broke the news to him as we pulled up to the huge entrance. I captured his expression with the camera as we told him. He was OVER THE MOON and so excited...it was worth the surprise...seeing the delight and sheer joy in his eyes. One of my fondest memories of my kids to this day!
These are exciting times! We took Ray and Julia last year. They loved it. They called it Happyworld though. I thought that was funny. Pictures are a must. I think I had as much fun as they did. Enjoy! I am sure it will be a blast.
